Fics like Numinous

“Clearly, our pup was keeping him alive for a reason and I’d like to find out why before we abandon it to the elements.” “I can kill it,” Jin offered, snatching the satchel angrily. “Put it out of its misery.” The boy whimpered, pressing his face against Hoseok’s chest desperately. He brought his hand up to rub soothingly over the boy’s head from on top of the furs, hushing his terrified noises. “What’s this one done to you?” he asked, still shielding the human’s body with his own. “It’s just a pup— it’s harmless.” Jin snorted, turning his back towards his packmate as he made his way back into their den. “No human is harmless. They’re all monsters.” OR Hoseok finds an injured human in the forest and takes him home. The pack isn't exactly... welcoming... at first.
