Fics like Ocean of Courage

Discovery’s mission to find the Ten-C and stop the DMA is a success, but not without a heavy price. While the crew finally begins their journey of healing from all the traumas they've been through in the past couple of years, they also help usher in a new era of rebuilding. New relationships will blossom and old ones will be rekindled all while trying to navigate the political minefield of a galaxy that's been estranged from one another for nearly a century. Or The AU where I get to galaxy build and let the crew be nerdy, goofy, badasses as they heal, and bond with a couple of Presidents while saving the day in their own chaotic way.
