Fics like The preface to The 1883 German Edition

"If he writes the words, the next proletariat who reads the Manifest, the next generation of revolutionaries will be born knowing Karl Marx is dead, in a world where Marx is no longer there. Will make a revolution he can’t be part of." Engels struggles to write the preface of the new edition of the Communist Manifesto. It's been months since Marx's death but trying to write the words down still feels like losing his loved one once again.
