Fics like Something Wicked

Bill saw the faded ghosts of Derry's past, heard the wispy trails of other peoples thoughts, knew their secrets as surely as if they where his own. Bill had known about what Henry Bowers and Patrick Hockstetter got up to in the junkyard, knew how his father blamed himself for Bill's stutter and tried not to blame Bill for Georgie's death. He'd been able to sense It below Derry, a thrumming energy like the beat of drums making his body quake, and though much less tangible than with humans he'd still been able to pick up the loose threads of what It was thinking. That's how Bill knew It would come back. - Bill Denbrough grows up and takes a job as caretaker for the Overlook Hotel.
