Fics like Tangents

This is just a bit of fun. I've been known to complain that if I don't keep a tight leash on these characters, they just go off at a tangent and talk about whatever interests them at the moment. Someone (who's a smart-ass) asked to see what that looks like. Seeing as I had several bits that were rated as Darlings and got 'killed' by being consigned to File 13, finding a starting point for this piece wasn't hard. I opened the document, read to the end of it, and just waited for a while. Going off at tangents happened as easy as pie. The hard part was getting them to quit. They're all still hanging around telling me that the conversation continued during dinner, and they talked over ice-cream afterwards, and the guys didn't go home until after midnight. So is there any point in reading this? I think so, because you'll find out things about Ziva, Jen, Gibbs, Tony, and McGee that are really difficult to put into more structured stories, and things that are impossible to include in more serious stories. So prepare for some giggles. And as for tangents... You count 'em.
