Many, many attempts to change the past have gone by, and it all ends up being futile. The concept of being stuck in a permanent loop of reality begins to settle, driving [the New Kid] insane, their morality and conception of reality draining away after every new attempt to change things. Finally, Professor Chaos’ monologue gets cut short, with [the New Kid] pleading to accept the offer from him. He’s shocked, at first, but then embraces this desperate hero with open arms, finally ending the loop. Over a year later, two days before fifth grade graduation, Scott Malkinson has been wondering about the odd absence of [the New Kid], ever since last Friday. Graduation is this Friday, and he’s unsure where they went, until they receive a vague distress text from them. The Freedom Pals, which have been collecting dust for some time now, have to brush up and re-assemble to uncover what oddities are occurring with this missing student, along with the new rise of Professor Chaos, all the while worrying about their changes in school. New kinds of battles will brew, beyond just brute strength, and the group’s integrity will be put to the test.
