Fics like My God, I'm so lonely

The boy looked so small. So small standing next to his dead parents. An orphan. Another one. The city has won once again. Batman had seen children before, children that had lost everything, especially in the flood. The Riddler's descriptions of his nights in the system would haunt the nights. Maybe it was because he hadn't come to the circus as Batman. Not as Bruce Wayne either. But this time, as he looked at the boy in his blue eyes, he couldn't hide behind the mask. -- In which I, like everyone else, watched The Batman and immediately thought "someone give this man a Robin"
