Fics like Something About Him

Percy ate so daintily. No one else would think to eat toasted bread with a knife and fork. And he really didn’t have to use his handkerchief every time he took a sip of coffee. And! The way he held the coffee cup! Pinky out as if it was a glass of champagne. “Whatcha doing?” Vex’s heart seized and she threw herself back out of the doorway. Pike stared at her, eyebrow raised in amusement. “Ooh, who are we spying on?” Vex’s cheeks burned. It was bad enough, navigating her unwanted feelings on her own. But the thought of voicing them aloud to Pike would make them seem suddenly very real. It wasn’t like she was in love with Percy. She didn’t even like him all that much. There was just something about him that she found attractive, and she needed to figure out what that was. Then she could find someone else with whatever trait she found appealing and, well, bang it out, as Scanlan would say. - With the aid of Pike and Keyleth (and, unfortunately, Scanlan) Vex attempts to find someone in Emon who can take her mind off her unorthodox feelings for Percy. Unfortunately, no one seems to compare to her dashing gunman.
