Fics like Words Aren't Enough, Sometimes

One of the rarer event types at the Arena, but definately the most popular: The Gauntlet. A hoard of competitors versus one vet, to see who comes out on top. Tons of fighters compete, and sometimes the fodder even manages to win. Great to watch, even better to compete in, but a real pain in the ass to set up. Didn't help that they'd decided to host it last minute, but Tommy was blaming Ref for that (even though they'd both come up with the idea). Point being, they were usually fun. What wasn't fun was the fact that his brother wanted to talk to him about something, and he would rather do anything but. Work was a good excuse for that, but how long can that realistically work? ~-~-~ This is part of a series, you should probably read the other parts before this one actually. It's all under the 'Arena' series tag :D
