Fics like I don’t want to set the world on fire

When the cups defeated the devil, the transfer of power from an immortal to two mortal children didn’t go as planned. With the negative energy now dispersed within the earth, chaos and pain run rampant. tucked into the cliff side, the devil prays to god for assistance, a fallen king tries to pick up the pieces, and two boys wrought with guilt try for forgive themselves. Maybe together they can make something of the end. ———— A non-linear story of the cups, the devil, king dice, and miss chalice trying to find meaning within the wastes. If you like gritty angst, old men dancing around love, learning to be vulnerable, and found family in general this is the fic for you Chapter 1: Dice and devil centric Chapter 2: Cuphead and Mugman centric
