Fics like Things get worse before they get better, right?

Lance believed he was happy and that his mates were simply busy with their work. After all, it wasn't every day your Alpha mates were the Admiral of the Galaxy Garrison and the Leader of the Blade of Marmora. Both who happened to be the former and current Black Paladin of Voltron. But Lance saw and felt the signs that they didn't want him anymore. The excuses they gave him, the way they shirked from his touches, the exclusion from intimacy. But the biggest sign was the bond marks they had given him were fading away. Desperately needing a break from the heartache, Queen Allura invited Lance on an archaeological expedition to Oriande. Only...Lance didn't tell Keith and Shiro he was leaving.
