Fics like on the last day (and the stain stays put)

Zhang Qishan gives a caveat to every single one of the troops he leads. He’s given it to Zhang Rishan more than once—in fact, he has to give it to him nearly every single time they’re separated. The caveat is, if he ever goes missing in action, his subordinates—his friends, mostly—are allowed three days to look for him. After those three days, if they have not found any signs of his whereabouts, they are to presume that Zhang Qishan is dead, and continue their mission. Fo-ye and his fuguan are taken.
