Fics like The Batman: Into the Light

After Dick Grayson witnessed the deaths of his parents, an unprepared, reclusive, and slightly awkward billionaire decides to take him in. Bruce sees so much of himself in the boy, but doesn’t know how to raise him right, and without Alfred he’d be hopeless. Bruce, vowing that Dick won’t share his own fate, instead decides to seek justice on his ward’s behalf. The mystery of who murdered the Graysons keeps both boy and vigilante on the hunt for the killer, though Bruce tries to keep Dick out of it. Stranger still is the looming feeling that their murders weren’t entirely senseless. Features mystery/noir elements, as well as some fluffy silliness. Takes place right after The Batman 2022.
