Fics like The Desk Set

Erik is a skilled Technical Engineer. He's brilliant, top-grade, steely and incredibly successful. So why then is he being forced to work with Tony Stark on a top-secret new job for his company? Poor project management...that's why. And he's furious for it. Stark is insufferable to work with, he hates making the commute to their meetings, and now he's having to spend nearly every day in the cramped little References Department where the project is meant to be installed. To top it off, it's all still a secret, the office staff are incredibly nosy, and the department head-...well, he's unbelievably distracting. To say the least. Honestly, Erik really didn't expect to meet a man like Charles Xavier in an office like this.
