Fics like tell me something I don't know

Antigone Funn has seen a great many films in her lifetime. Most of them obscure, foreign romances, sure, but she would argue that this is what makes them most interesting. One particular film has been at the forefront of her mind all evening: La Nuit en Rose. It’s a very steamy romance, adapted from the book of the same name (which is really no good at all if you don’t speak French). It’s about a very sad, very beautiful librarian who catches the eye of the most charismatic man in town. Antigone’s seen it at least eight times, if only because of the cinema’s lack of other good films. There’s one scene she can quote perfectly, and she takes great pride in it. It comes after the scene where the librarian and the man are caught in the rain, and she’s forgotten her umbrella, and he says something like… They’ve just run inside, and the man says something like… “Oh, it looks like your drink’s done, would you like me to ask for a refill?” Drat, that’s not the line. “Antigone?” --- Random trivia, not-so-random trivia, and the occasional impromptu competition.
