Fics like Friend that I might have been

"Xelqua was running. He had to run, run, run. He needed to get away as fast as he could so they wouldn’t find him. He needed to go somewhere that was hard to get to. A whitelisted server, a small one, far away." Running away from Watchers, Xelqua ends up on a weird small server where he gets mistaken for Grian, a player he had never heard of before. But there is something wrong with this server as it’s filled with many extinct, presumably bloodthirsty creatures - that are all incredibly nice. Xelqua takes the opportunity and tries to pretend to be their friend, not wanting to be discovered. Watchers have no idea what they had done. I don’t know how to write summaries.
