Fics like Chase Two Girls, Lose The One (To The Other One)

Looking at her now, silky black hair and green-gray eyes, Betty could see why James had cheated on her with the other girl over summer. But that didn’t make it okay, and it didn’t mean she wanted him back. James had come to her party last weekend, which she hadn’t invited him to, because even if they were in highschool and she was being dramatic, infidelity was not f*cking cool, and her trust was shattered, and she was angry. It had been a terrible night, and James kept talking to her even after she asked him to leave, and he tried to kiss her, again, and it was really weird, and Betty didn’t like it. So she was glad that she’d switched out of his homeroom, even if that now meant sharing with James’s summer ex, Augustina. Actually, no one called her by her full name. She went by Tina, and Betty was currently sitting on a park bench with her, trying to figure out how to be friends. ----------- Taylor Swift said she thinks Betty and James end up together, but I prefer the idea of Betty and August's Narrator (I'm calling her Tina, here, short for Augustina), getting together and bonding over their shared hatred of James.
