Fics like be still my foolish heart

Richie’s home early from a meeting with a team of Netflix execs, and he’s willing to bet that Eddie was not intending for him to see the collection of butt plugs, dildos, anal beads, and vibrators that’s currently invading their kitchen. “Hey, Eds?” he calls. “Why is there a big purple dick in my drying rack?” “Shit!” Eddie shouts, from somewhere on the second floor, and Richie hears footsteps tearing down the stairs in his direction. Eddie appears in the kitchen doorway, his face burning. “I can explain,” he says. “No explanation necessary, Eduardo,” Richie says. He decides joking is the best course of action here, because joking will put a buffer between himself and the situation at hand. If he lets himself process what’s happening, he might think about Eddie using those toys on himself and, well, that would end in a… predicament. “Just airing out the ol’ butt plugs, right? Totally understandable.”
