Fics like all the good things and bad things

Sometimes, when everything feels too heavy, when Nancy’s hidden burdens weigh on her so much that she feels like she can’t move, breathe or think, she goes for a walk. It starts at The Claw, passes Lily’s flower shop and ends just past Harbor Joe’s. And in the back of her mind, she hears Ace’s words — not real, but exactly what he would say to her if he knew she needed to hear it. She reminds herself that her pain is keeping the man she loves alive. Or, Nancy Drew looks for a way forward with Ace that won't kill him. Ace, meanwhile decides to take a page from her book. Post-3x13, canon-compliant.
