Fics like Took Me By Surprise

Hongjoong often dragged himself out to the bar whenever his friends went, resigned to looking after them and making sure they didn’t do anything stupid despite his own distaste for social situations. However, one night he meets another student doing the same for his friends, and against everything Hongjoong would have expected, they hit it off easily. If only Hongjoong hadn’t developed a massive crush on his new “friend”. Or: Hongjoong and Seonghwa both have friends who party too hard and they keep running into each other around campus.
