Fics like The Day Professor Minerva McGonagall Decided it was Time to Retire

There was a phrase she knew muggles used, about certain traits ‘skipping a generation’ in families. Minerva McGonagall was not one to believe in superstitions or old wives tales and muggle idioms, if that’s what it was to be called, also fell squarely into that category. That was, at least, until 2010, when she received the first of four heart-stopping moments and she realised there were little bits of them everywhere. This is my take on the "Nineteen Years Later" Epilogue at the end of Harry Potter and the Deathly Hallows because most people think it sucked and I agree so I tried to write it but better. Mostly canon-compliant to the Harry Potter books (NOT including the Cursed Child because it's as cursed as the author) and heavily influenced/canon compliant with All the Young Dudes by MsKingBean89 because I'm having a marauders moment.
