Fics like New Jorvik, England

Traditional is the word for this community. The garden she leads me to is full of practical plants and flowers and as if they could have stood there for a thousand years, several upright stones, carved with runes, and an uncountable number of names Like the majority of the population, she is armed. A sharp hand axe sits at her hip, along with various other items hanging off her belt. An amulet depicting Thor’s hammer hangs around her neck. Despite the fact that there have been no undead within her borders for over two years, she continues to wear leather bracers. At barely five foot one, and still with somewhat of a slight frame, it is difficult to imagine that Ylva Helsdottir was one of the foremost leaders of the Steel Wolves, the most successful independent mercenary group in the UK
