Fics like A Good Man

Buck isn’t sure how he got here; trapped in some impenetrable cage with only a cot and a table of books he has never read to keep him company. He’s surrounded by glass with the only light in the room illuminating the enclosure. Through it, all he can see is the same blackness he remembers before getting here. He pounds at the glass first, hoping what little strength he has left in him will be enough to break free of the prison he finds himself in, but it doesn’t work. He doesn’t even try to scream, knowing somewhere deep inside of him that whoever has him locked away must be smarter than that. Or, the You AU that wouldn't leave me alone.
