Fics like Shining Stars and Glistening Ice

Kate is down on her luck after a tragedy during the Grand Prix Finals. She was inspired to skate competitively ever since she saw Yelena Belova win gold in the 2014 winter Olympics, but now she is unsure of her dreams and her future. The anniversary of her sister’s passing brings Yelena back to New York. The 27-year-old retired prodigy is taken by surprise when she is tagged in a video of a 21 year-old rookie skater, Kate Bishop, dancing to her 2014 performance in Sochi, Russia. The ice calls to Kate. Like a moth drawn to flame, searching for something bright, Yelena follows her. *Complete*
