Fics like Mercy

"The woman’s lived with the clan longer than Madara’s been alive. When he’s born, she’s the one who oversees his delivery, though she wasn’t trusted enough to participate herself. When he’s three years old and skins his knee, she’s the one who kneels in the mud, uncaring of the state of her kimono, and heals him. When his brother Izuna is born, she stands in the corner and oversees it. When the process is over and Mother is resting, Madara asks Father why she didn’t help." (In which Sakura strives to break the Curse of Hatred through sheer kindness - and it works)
