Fics like Mates and Murder

When you meet your True Mate and touch them, a soul mark burns onto the skin of the Omega, claiming them for their Alpha even before a mating bite occurs. Dean owns his own business and, after witnessing what happened to his dad when his mom died, he wasn’t in any kind of rush to find his own True Mate. He focuses on growing his business and caring for what family he has left. Castiel works with the police department and doesn’t have time to try and find his True Mate. He catches killers for a living and can’t imagine bringing someone into his life. He’s on his own and has been for much of his life. He’s fine. Sometimes fate has other plans. When the two men meet at a crime scene, sparks fly (literally). The case Castiel is on keeps the men together and eventually, feelings can’t be ignored any longer. Neither can the case.
