Fics like AITA if I got my ex sent to jail and never told him I was kind of the reason he got caught?

As a preface: My ex has reddit so this is a throwaway account. I’ve never really used this before so sorry if I don’t understand the etiquette. TLDR: My best friend since high school was sentenced and jailed for burglary and I was the one who ratted him out. I didn’t mean to, but I was interrogated by the cops because they suspected him, and I have anxiety so I ended up cracking under pressure. It’s been six years since that and he’s tried contacting me casually every so often, but I’m kind of ghosting him now because I don’t really know what to say… I still haven’t told him anything.
