Fics like High School Musical: Class Act

Sophomore Lauren Hamilton has an idea. A genius idea actually. With the winter play just around the corner and Ajay stressing over not having any sort of idea of what the theater kids are performing, Lauren takes it into her own hands to figure it out. And what better place to start than to watch a bunch of movies that were plays first? But, after binge-watching High School Musical and then watching the TV series on Disney Plus, an idea hits her. Why not they perform the classic hit, High School Musical? She knows it'll take a of lot convincing considering Ajay hates Disney movies and he's head director but she's not going to let some grumpy director stop her from living out her dreams of being the Troy to Rory's Gabriella. And plus, she figures it'd be a great for the seniors to enjoy.
