Fics like Red Cross, Red Star

Steve Rogers has finally made it to Europe to help out with the War the only way he can- as a Volunteer Nurse for the American Red Cross. But no-one wants a skinny male omega Irish American nurse with a heart condition, bad hearing and flat feet. So they send him to the front to force him to fail or go home. But Steve is no quitter. He’s used to no-one wanting him. So when a strange buff alpha with a metal arm shows up, kills everyone but him and turns out to be his Fated Mate- the best Steve can do is just hang on and hope to survive.
