Fics like The Avatar and the Fire Prince

Nearly a century after the last appearance of Sozin’s Comet, thirteen-year-old Fire Prince Zuko is banished by his father and given a near impossible task: find and capture the elusive Avatar, the Fire Nation’s greatest threat. After just three months at sea, he discovers a strange boy frozen in an iceberg. To both Zuko’s confusion and frustration, however, the Avatar is nothing at all like he expected him to be. Why would he help Zuko and his uncle escape from Admiral Zhao? Why does he insist on dragging them all over the world to the abandoned Air Temples? Why is he so infuriatingly cheery? …Why is he beginning to make Zuko question everything he has ever known? As the weeks go by, Zuko slowly begins learns the truth about the Air Nomads and the War. Eventually, he finds he must make a choice that will forever change the direction of his life: his honor, his family, his throne… or the kind and charming boy who has somehow managed to sneak his way into his jaded heart. ********* (CURRENT UPDATE SCHEDULE IS ROUGHLY ONCE A MONTH) (Ongoing Russian translation available!)
