Fics like The Inception of Closure

Jimin had spent so long living as someone he wasn’t that, somewhere along the way, he lost sight of who he truly was—if he ever knew at all. The saddest part was realizing how much time he had wasted, more than he’d ever admitted to himself, until he met someone who lived unapologetically, someone unafraid to be seen. Jungkook was so real, so grounded in his own skin, that when Jimin met him, it stirred something unsettling. For the first time, he felt the weight of his own performance—his carefully constructed self unraveling in the presence of someone who didn’t need a mask. He began to wonder: was meeting someone so wholly themselves the beginning of something—an inception? Or would he retreat again into the safety of pretending? And even then, was Jungkook truly what he appeared to be? Or was Jimin only seeing a version of him—one shaped by his own longing to be free?
