“Is it that difficult to waste one evening of your life with me?” the words seemed to flow out without his permission. For a second, Jae Shin was mortified. But, after the red, hot, embarrassment of the moment had thawed, he was glad he had lost control for a second. Six months had passed since he had met Yong Ha last. He could excuse the unanswered letters, the casual rejections to suggestions of meeting up at some inn (strategically chosen so that it was near Yong Ha’s new shop). He could excuse a lot. But tonight, he had booked a room at the only inn in town that cooked the bizarre fish that Yong Ha had become addicted to as a child while travelling with his father. He had even managed to obtain a dozen of the pretentious exotic fruits that Yong Ha used to gorge on. “It’s not like we haven’t done this before, Yong Ha. We have been doing this since before Lee Sun Joon and… and she ever came into the picture. We grew up together. Spend each second of every day together. You have been my shadow for…” “I can’t anymore.” OR, Moon Jae Shin is trying his level best to get over Dae Mul. That's the only possible reason why he was trying to hang out with Yong Ha alone, right?
