Fics like icy-hot

“I qualified,” Tooru repeats, feeling like a record player stuck on repeat. He blinks his eyes once again, vision growing hazier with every passing second. “Iwa-chan, I qualified.” “I didn’t have any doubts that you would,” Hajime replies evenly. He takes hold of Tooru’s calf and slowly slips the boot off. His fingers are gentle as they curl around the top of his woolen sock. “How much does it hurt?” “So much,” Tooru admits, voice wobbly, finally allowing a few tears to escape his eyes now that the cat’s out of the bag. And once they start coming, they don’t stop. Hajime hisses in sympathy when he finally pulls the sock off to reveal a large red bruise, already violently purple on the edges, engulfing the entirety of Tooru’s ankle and instep. “Are you mad at me?” Tooru finally asks in a small voice. Hajime shakes his head. “I’m not mad but fucking hell, you scared the shit out of me.” Tooru makes a reckless decision during a program.
