After saving Hyrule from Vaati and Ganondorf, the pieces of Link are sealed inside the Four Sword, acting as the new spirit of the sword they once wielded. Now, the soul that once called itself Link waits in the darkness for the day in which he can be released from the prison he now calls home. Thousands of years later, he may just get that chance. ----- After waking from the Shrine of Resurrection, the Hylian (Link? that's what the voice told him anyway) found a sword hidden in a plant-covered cave deep within the plateau. While everything within the cave was destroyed and ruined, the stone that held the sword still looked pristine. The sword, with golden hilt wings still shining despite the vines wrapped around them, hummed softly as he approached with tentative steps. Grabbing the hilt, he heaved upwards.
