It had not mattered that he was merely eight years old when they sat him upon a throne nearly twice his size and deemed him their new King. What had mattered in the end was that the young King had led his nation to utter ruin, had stood by and watched as his citizens pounded bloody fists against the stone walls of his castle with pleas for salvation that he could not bring them. Tommy hadn't expected to open his eyes after feeling the pointed tip of a blade pierce through his chest, bringing an end to the reign of a tyrant. Had accepted his fate the moment the leader of the rebellion entered through those towering wooden doors with the sole purpose of killing a King that had failed his people. Yet Tommy finds himself waking on the day they placed a jeweled crown upon his head and deemed him their King at the mere age of eight, traveling six year into the past with a burning determination not to be used as a puppet once more. His first step though is winning over the heart of the man that he thought of as family, the very person who pushed a blade through his chest with tears stinging his eyes.
