Fics like The Mergerization and Acquisition of Patrick Bateman

Patrick Bateman's closet doesn't contain any dead bodies in this tale*, but there is something in it that scares him so much more... *This is slightly AU; it's still set in Manhattan and the characters are all the same, but Patrick hasn't killed anyone, his dad is still alive, he has a whole ton of childhood trauma, and is incredibly mentally ill and in therapy at the beginning of this. I've also updated it to modern day times; there is no specific year but it's intended to be sometime in the mid-to-late 2010s. Also, Paul knows who he is from the start and doesn't mistake him for Marcus Halberstram. Oh yeah, and the biggest change is that he's joined Paul in that whole Yale thing. He just doesn't know it yet...
