Dean has never wanted to be the creep pining after his best friend who’s just trying to figure out parenthood and needs his help. He doesn’t want to look at Cas, at his big hand cupping the back of Jack’s head, and ache to hold him. He doesn’t want to see father and son in the early morning kitchen sunlight and think, I’ve never belonged anywhere like I belong here with them. But he does. God help him, he does.
