Fics like Offer me that deathless death

Just before he could step off the bricks of the fortress, the rattle of bones sounded behind him. Figuring that it was just a regular skeleton, Grian prepared himself to duck and run, not wanting to deal with fighting mobs. But when a slash of pain jolted against his shoulder, it caused him to whip around, stumbling to his hands and knees and scraping his skin. Grian stared up, wide-eyed at the expressionless wither skeleton that loomed above him, sword raised threateningly. -- Grian gets hit by a wither skeleton on his way home from the nether, thankfully someone is there to help him with the effects.
