Everyone in Konoha thinks that Uzumaki Naruto is just an annoying prankster (and also the Kyuubi itself). Nobody has ever taken him seriously, listened to his goal of being the Hokage one day, or even recognised all the hard work he puts in. He knows exactly how much work it takes to be a ninja, and he works hard for it. Uchiha Sasuke puts on airs about being this cold, untouchable survivor who lives for revenge, but inside, he's begging for someone to just *see* how much pain he's in and extend a hand. Haruno Sakura pretends to like Sasuke because all the girls do, but all that is just to hide all the uncertainty she has about who she's supposed to be in this world. But now that she's graduated, she knows she needs to figure it out. She just doesn't know how. AKA Team 7 are all being misunderstood by people who believe the images they present, and Kakashi is doing the best he can with what he has.
