Fics like Chat Noir's Most Fur-vent Sup-purr-ter

Marinette goes on a passionate rant in class about why Chat Noir is NOT a sidekick, on a day where Adrien very much needs a pick-me up (I'm up to date with the show, feel free to add as much season 4 angst as you want to).Adrien walks by a store selling Chat Noir merch later that day and decides that, since his very good friend is such a big fan, he should buy her something... It was supposed to be a one-time thing, but when Marinette is super excited to get the gift (because it's a present from Adrien, of course), he can't help but pick her up something else a few days later. And then this happens again. And again. And... Marinette is getting merch from him every day now. Sometimes multiple times a day. She's confused. The class is confused. Adrien is confused. Because he's tried to stop buying things. Marinette has asked him to stop buying things. Why CAN'T he stop buying things? Why does he need to see her wearing his merch now? Why is he constantly thinking about what to get her next? Why is he thinking about his very good friend this way?? Written for CoffeeBanana for the MLB Fanworks Discord Secret Santa
