Fics like Hidden Villains

Buying unwanted kids with powerful quirks or using loopholes to gain custody of them. That’s how the HPSC had gotten Keigo. They were raised to be heroes, training instead of having a childhood. Keigo wasn’t the only one. Kids of all different ages came and went. But the program was supposed to have been shut down when he was 16. That’s what he was told. Keigo was one of the few to actually complete his training and become a hero. Others died or had mental breakdowns they couldn’t recover from. That’s why it was shut down. The HPSC president cited it as being too expensive for too little return. An ineffective attempt to create top-of-the-line heroes. It had stopped. But they had lied to him. _______________________ Pro Hero Hawks accidentally discovers a secret, heavily secured basement in an HPSC building. When he sneaks in, he not only discovers kids but his own son. The HPSC has been stealing DNA from heroes to genetically engineer the perfect soldiers. Can he free them and will they be accepted by their biological parents?
