Fics like A Meager Friendship

Kanan liked Ahsoka. Not in the way he liked Hera of course, Hera was special. But he felt a certain camaraderie with her that he didn’t quite share with anyone else, not even with Ezra. Maybe it was because they were both survivors of a bygone era. They had both lost their masters too. Either way, Kanan just liked being around her. He just felt a strong kinship, similar to the one he once had for his late Master Depa. A strong, but kind mentor figure he could look up to. With all the responsibility placed on his shoulders, he was just grateful to have Ahsoka around to make the burden a bit easier.
