Fics like the hardest part is living (with it)

Peter couldn’t remember the last time he could just… breathe. Instead, he sits on the edge of an apartment building’s roof and rolls up the bottom of his mask, gulps in burning lungfuls of the unforgiving night air, and tugs his mask back on. Crime stops for no one, not even Spiderman. Or: May dies, and Peter devolves into homelessness and isolation. Past demons reappear, old wars are waged, and it feels like Peter has no one to turn to, not even Mr. Stark. Like always, Peter’s life gets better before it gets worse, and it gets worse before it gets better. - Nominated in the Best Multi-chapter Category in the Irondad Creator Awards 2023 :)
