Fics like Our Futures, Overlapping

The Promised Day is in the past, Amestris is settling into its hard-earned peace, and Ed struggles to decide where he’s going to fit into it all. It’s a little bit nostalgic, but mostly it’s surprising, this new world of theirs. Amid the lethargic pace of everyday life, there is always, always that forward momentum inside of them, that resolve to take another step. Ed is still growing. Al’s alchemy is evolving. Together, they set off. (Five times Ed tries to use his alchemy after he gave it to Truth, plus one time he tries something new.)
