Fics like Starlight Fading

After the events of Star Wars: The High Republic: The Rising Storm, the citizens of Starlight Beacon cautiously prepare for the Republic Masquerade--an intimate charity event that normally takes place on a core world. In the light of recent events, the dance has been planned for Starlight, where security is high and the frontier's most dedicated Jedi dwell. However, a decrypted message suggests that Nihil spies have successfully stowed away on Starlight, and are planning an attack on the night of the dance. Elzar Mann and Avar Kriss are sent undercover to intercept the spies and protect Starlight Beacon--but will peril force them closer together, or further apart? Also, meet Chiss Jedi apprentice Syn'ra, and her Atoan master Eq Thessos--exemplary Jedi in the way of tranquility and balance. How will they react to this unexpected threat? A chaptered series--my first fanfiction. Hope you enjoy. Dedicated to the wonderful authors and story group of the High Republic publishing initiative. SPOILERS for The High Republic novels and comics of Phase I.
