Fics like a devilish deal

Three years have gone by since Josie lost her father to the hands of her best friend. While she struggles to build a life of her own far away from what is left of the one she knew, she comes face to face with the person she once loved: Hope Mikaelson. When the two meet again in New York, it is made clear time has not changed much. Hope has been running from her humanity for three years now, but Josie has no intention of giving up on the good in her. She quickly finds herself tangled up in Hope's never-ending troubles all over again, coming to terms with the darkness and the suffering it involves. Hope and Josie strike a devious, dangerous deal. Thirty days together, thirty days to scream, cry and fall in love all over again, as Josie desperately tries to save a soul that has been long gone for years now, as Hope fights and destroys everything she touches to save what is left of her tainted heart. “The punishment is for me.”
