Fics like same as it ever was

Rolling, rolling, rolling out before his eyes are faces he knows and has never seen before. He enters a world not unlike his own, if it were reflected in a funhouse mirror. Bulba is there, but not as he knows him. This Taurus Bulba is all custom Farmani suits and an accent that rings nasal eastern European instead of east coast elite. His malice is maskless, his cronies gather round him in hoards, and he is the sort of kingpin the Darkwing of five days ago would have relished hunting down. The sort of criminal that Darkwing Duck has waited a lifetime to face… ….But that’s not right. He’s been Darkwing for less than six months. He’s been Darkwing for over a decade.
