Fics like If At First You Don't Succeed...

...Try and try again. "You really must come over for dinner, Massimo," says Daniella halfway through dessert whilst Luca only half-listens, too busy staring at Alberto and giggling stupidly. "It'll have to be next week, of course, after all the madness." Luca looks up. "Madness?" "Yes, for the crab show. " His mother pauses in pouring Massimo more wine. "We discussed this back in April. You did remember, right?" "I… sure did," Luca says weakly. "I guess that means I'll be coming home with you guys tonight, then. And staying. For the next week. All seven days of it. Constantly." Alberto squeezes Luca’s knee. "We have the rest of summer to hang out." "Uh-huh," Luca says and reaches for the wine bottle. "Sure. Cool. Peachy." (or: Luca just wants an hour to bang his stupidly hot boyfriend in peace. What he gets is a cockblocking from all of Portorosso.)
