Fics like (this is) the new year

After an embarrassing mishap that could jeopardize her position in her mother's company, Adora is put in charge of a Holiday tradition that brings her to the Northern Reach: a small town whose only claim to fame is their annual New Year's celebration. It's the very same small town that Catra swore she'd never come back to after college. But, as always, the world has it out for her and now she needs to come up with a new plan. One that involves burying her heart and never getting burned again. If only it were that easy. // (an AU very very very loosely inspired by A Christmas Inheritance)
