Fics like Take Me Home

Sonny and Rico drive to the airport, and the future is an empty expanse, untethered from Miami and from each other. Sonny can't imagine moving forward without Rico, but he also can't seem to bring himself to stop his partner from leaving. Rico is tired of dropping hints and getting hurt, and can't imagine Sonny has it in him to say anything if he hasn't said it yet. If they're going to build a future with room for both of them, they need a miracle-- but more than that, they need to talk. (Illustrated, including an explicit illustration. Also, I promised it would eventually be happy. I keep my promises!) The wrap-up to prior Vice fics, but works fine as a standalone so long as you're on board with the idea of Sonny and Rico being on-again-off-again throughout the course of the show.
